Little Doris Company is an established family-run business that makes delicious sauces from an authentic family recipe. In an exciting new development we are now setting up New Compassionate Charity, which will provide vital support to disabled children and their families. The majority of profits from Little Doris Company will be channeled into the charity, enabling a range of projects, which will provide help and hope to some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
Aims and Objectives:
- To support and empower families to manage the stress associated with caring for a disabled family member, boosting their health and wellbeing.
- To promote dignity and respect for all disabled and mentally impaired individuals.
- To provide support to children who look after ill or disabled family members, helping them to overcome the challenges of their caring responsibilities and lead full and happy lives.
- To provide respite centres to offer breaks to carers, and day trips and excursions for disabled children.
- To create residential homes for disabled people and their families.
- To work in our communities to educate people in culturally sensitive conflict resolution methods.
- To provide vocational training, coaching and counselling to young people to enable them to make the most of opportunities and realise their ambitions.
- To raise awareness at government level of the support needs of disabled people and their families.
